Yep. Not as swift -- or as well placed -- as popular opinion had wished, but
perhaps enough.

On a slightly related note, I did watch 'Antitrust' on HBO and was surprised
to see the absolutely clear references to BG himself and to MS.
Even the small tables in the movie's set were direct lifts of the MS puzzle
logo. That was the most legally blatant reference that I saw (well, unless
you count the maniacal and controlling Tim Robbins character.)
Did anyone see that film? [Did you also notice that the computers in the
daycare center, where much of the hacking action takes place, were iMacs?
Check the keyboards if you catch the film. Dead give away.]

I haven't wanted much more from my OS (9), but a new browser...now that's
almost enough to make me wonder if maybe it's not time to... oh, shut up,
