Hi all,
Newbie here.
I have a web site that where I've kludged together Sound App, hypercard
and applescript to allow 2 things.
1. Anyone can log on and enter a message in a browser form and that text
is spoken to us in the office by the server.
2. A different form allows people - especially PC owners) to enter a
message, have it converted to speech and returned to them in a .wav file.
Now I see that applescript can do text to speech to file but the sound
cuts off.
Try this in script editor 1.9
say "this is a really long piece of text to speak, but it might make it"
saving to "myfile.aiff"
Anyone have suggestions how to get the entire message in the file?
