...and vise-versa of course. There are several XML parsers for Applescript. Also, it wouldn't be that hard to write a parser just by tweaking the HTML parsing code from the GuideBook.

I've been AppleScripting for a while now, but I know nothing about XML or its significance. How does XML based documents lead to "Scriptability" for Keynote?

I guess I just don't get this XML thing. What gives?
