On the other hand, Safari can manage our SqWebMail login page, and OmniWeb
can't (bug report submitted, and OmniGroup provided with a testing account).
On the other other hand, all my other browsers can log into my account on
our web Intranet, and Safari can't if the password contains the "wrong"
characters. (I will be creating a bug report once I create a test site I
can give to Apple.)
All in all, I'm about to use Safari first until it proves it can't do a
particular thing, then try another browser for that. Since I don't surf
widely on the net, that should work fine...it already does with the other
browser collection. [For instance, I don't have Flash in most of
them...and now and then a site uses Flash in a way that looks interesting
enough to bother switching browsers. It's rare, though.]
And one other minor thing which I think is actually an Opera bug, but I
submitted a report to Apple for their awareness. (Different requirements
for file: URLs on my machine.)
