Safari is back to front: iRafas. As for Address Book, I don't know
what they were thinking when they named that one.
Sweet! I didn't understand Safari at all, guessing it went with the
jungle theme (Jaguars in the Safari was as close as I could get).
'Safari' is a Swahili word literally meaning a journey, but often taken
to mean going game viewing/hunting. Swahili is a coastal tribe of Kenya
& Tanzania (who refer to their language as kiswahili). Presumably
because of the extensive trading that was done for centuries, the
language is now widely spoken throughout East Africa.
So, safari --> journey
I like it.
