The 'mount volume' command wasn't built in to Standard Additions until well
after AppleScript 1.3.7 (I forget exactly when). You probably need to use
the old, old, old (1.1.1 celebrates its tenth birthday this year) 'mount
volume' scripting addition from osaxen.com: the url is
http://www.osaxen.com/mountvolume.html
If you use the classic syntax (AppleTalk only) it should be compatible with
the mount volume built into Standard Additions, even in X.
