Hi Tim from Tom

Ah, I've found the button now - I hadn't found the Event Log History, I was looking at the log beneath the AppleScript.

In the old Script Editor turning off Show Events would still show "log" commands from inside the AppleScript. Selecting Log Nothing isn't quite analogous, in that it also suppresses these statements. I liked being able to see my debugging statements without the other events.

OK, but whether in Script Editor and/or AppleScript I'd like to request a feature to change the case of names. A Find & Replace on all occurences of a variable name could be a good place to implement it...

Thanks for the response, always nice to know feedback has been read 8-)

Cheers

Maybe that whole love thing is just a grown-up version of Santa Claus; just a myth we've been fed since childhood. So, we keep buying magazines, joining clubs, and doing therapy and watching movies with hit pop songs played over love montages all in a pathetic attempt to explain why our love Santa keeps getting caught in the chimney -- Kate in Kate & Leopold (2001)
