In 10.2, the CUPS is ready, a few months ago, someone suggest this method to
avoid the print dialog:

Lp pathToFile or lpr pathToFile

You can wrap it by do shell script.

By the way, there are several PDFs in the directory /usr/share/doc/cups/

The one that contains information about page setup is "CUPS Software Users
Manual", which is 3/usr/share/doc/cups/sum.pdf2.
