To my knowledge Macromedia hasn't updated it's dictionary since version 7.
This would appear to be the cause of your problem.
You 'can' script using the "HackerPref" which will allow you to alter the export settings of your SWF file, but unless you use a third party scripting utility like PreFab Player (pre OS X) or perhaps (i haven't tried) the new AS GUI scripting to physically select the SWF format from the dialogue menu then I'm afraid that it seems like you're stuck.
It's a real shame that MM hasn't felt the need to continue their support of AS, and with Quark's recent AS performances - I can now see indesign grabbing a good foothold in the automated world.
