Howto Display terminal return value??

Hi Everyone-
I am trying to write a script that asks for 2 string values, pass those values to a python script and returns a display of the output from the python script. I think i can figure out the first two parts using the terminal and shellscript, but how do I set the value that the python script returns to the terminal in the applescript for display as the answer?
