triggering applescript over the web?

  • Subject: triggering applescript over the web?

hello,

currently we are developing a filemaker-database, that is accessible
over the internet (intranet), containing several datasets, that should
result in an illustrator 10 file later on.

the idea is, to have a push-button along with a dataset-page.
by pressing it, the appropriate data on the server should be
exported from filemaker (as xml) and further processed (in
illustrator (eps, jpg), by zipit, and an e-mail-client).

a jpg-preview should get imported to the appropriate dataset as
a reference for later queries.

so my questions: is it possible to trigger an applescript
over the intranet *and* could it be done in "real time"
to get the jpg-preview into the filemaker-database?

huh. says: michael.
