I'm working on a book about building applications with AppleScript.
I'm familiar with three methods for creating GUIs with AppleScript:
Dialog Director (and Dialog Studio), FaceSpan and AppleScript Studio.
I've also read that Smile can be used to create custom dialogs of more
complexity than possible with display dialog, so perhaps that's a forth
way to do it.

My question is, is there interest in structured tutorials on creating
applications for Mac OS 9 with Dialog Director and FaceSpan? Or is the
majority of interest in AppleScript Studio?

Hi Chuck

I'm more interested in AppleScript Studio, than either Dialog Director and FaceSpan in OS 9.

Also, you should also add REALbasic to the list of apps that create GUIs for AppleScripts for OS 9 and OS X. As well, Cocoa applications can incorporate AppleScripts as well (and not just AppleScript Studio based Cocoa apps).
