Is there any way of getting MS Word X to print to PDF programmatically?
You could try the new GUI scripting and see if it works for this. "Print to
PDF" is a Mac OS X-only thing, not existent in Windows, so it won't be in
the VBA model, at least not yet. And that, directly or as 'do Visual Basic'
in AppleScript, is otherwise the only reliable way to get anything done in
Word. I know there are people who use REALBasic to automate Word - you could
inquire on an RB list. Otherwise, operating menu items and dialog boxes by
GUI scripting seems your best bet, until a newer version of Word comes out
to check.
