I need to convert text from indesign to the web but I need to remove
unicode. Does any one have a good text translation code that will help me
out.
The process is like this.
1. User selects block of copy and runs the script.
2. The script capture the data and places the text in a variable for
testing.
3. A file on the desktop is created and written to with the low ascii text.
I have every thing working except the translation of unicode text. My text
looks like:
"Space-Saver Cooling Rack Triples In Size!
A. One-piece design slides open and closed, adjusting from 14"x1"x14<00BD>"
to 36" long, with nothing to fit together, come apart or lose. Chrome-plated
steel; dishwasher safe. #24150$19.95

How do I translate this?
