Time for someone to evangelise that Apple make HyperCard open-source. After
all, if the current OS can be (sort of, at some levels) OSS, then why the
hell not with an ancient and now apparently of-no-commercial-value program?

The other answer(s) to this are products like SuperCard and Revolution.

Both work in a HyperCard-like way, and run on OS X. Revolution also runs on Windows and Unix.
