  • Subject: [ANN] July Philadelphia Area AppleScript User's Group Meeting
  • From: Ben Waldie <email@hidden>
  • Date: Mon, 7 Jul 2003 11:50:51 -0400

The next meeting of the Philadelphia Area AppleScript Users Group (PAASUG) will be held on Monday, July 21st, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, at Springboard Media <http://www.springboardmedia.com> in Philadelphia.

This month's meeting will feature Daniel Shockley, from MacEasy Computing. Daniel's presentation this month will focus on how AppleScript can be used to automate the process of filling out web forms with AppleScript, using the GET and the POST methods. Some of the sites Daniel may cover include MapQuest, Yahoo People Search, Petfinder, and FedEx.

The agenda for our next meeting will be as follows:

6:30 - 7:00 - Introductions / Q&A
7:00 - 7:15 - Group Business and News
7:15 - 8:15 - Main Presentation - Web Form Population
8:15 - 8:30 - Raffle / Meeting Closing

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Please try to let me know if you plan to attend, so that I can give Springboard Media a semi-accurate attendance estimate.

For additional information about our group, including meeting directions, please visit the "User Group" section of my web site at <http://www.applescriptguru.com>.

I hope to see some of you at the meeting.

- Ben
