Somethings going on over here, eh?
That code must evaluate _every file_ in _every folder_ of the "apps" folder,
then keep on the applications, right? So, would a total item count be
useful for comparing? (Rather than the number of actual applications?)
I'm going to run the script again, after inserting some timeout, just to see
what might be going on. (Not that I can think of a reason that I would need
to list all apps (and sys profiler may already do that?) but I still wonder
why it's taking such a bloody long time.
