Well, I think I have just seen the coolest recordable application.

Media100, a nice high-end NLE video editor, competes with FCP...not only is
*scriptable*, but is *recordable*, at least according to Media 100.

Now, I'm not saying Apple needs to pull it's head out...oh wait, yes...yes I
AM saying that. ;-) XML is cool stuff, but it's not going to do what
AppleScript does.

Mm...just think of all the Xserves a headless render station could
sell...mindless, faceless racks churning out video...mmmmm....
