Doug -- FYI: reporting
I just downloaded and installed NaDa, and within just a few minutes, I found
I could script it with ease. It is also extensively recordable. To record a
NaDa script, I found that it works best if you do NOT push the record
button.
I don't know if it supports the E-SLAP protocol or not, but I plan to spend
the rest of the night playing around with it.
I'll let you know. (So can avert any possible war.)

P.S.
Regarding unary minus: all tests suggests that it handles this by simply
ignoring any leading "-", as well as any trailing "-", and even any that
fall between other arguments.
I would rate it "SAFE" for both Engineering and CS. (But engineers should
still use caution, as I've seen them screw up when adding two 0's. ;)
