about URL Access problems

  • Subject: about URL Access problems

I've noticed several postings about problems with URL Access Scripting. I've got a few handlers that may be of use on my site - no licensing of any real type, although if you used them in something commercial, just make a note of the original author somewhere.

One handler decides whether to use URL Access Scripting or the command-line utility curl based on what OS you're using. You can send it form-data, as well as many other options. <http://danshockley.com/formposting.php>

Another handler wraps around curl's ability to upload files via FTP, making it easier to use that capability. Not sure it would work with the @ sign being _in_ the user-name, but I would guess the # sign would work. <http://danshockley.com/codebits.php>

Let me know if you find any bugs, or find them useful - I'd love to improve them, but have been very busy. Hey, if you _make_ any improvements, I'd like ot know that, too. :-)
