Bummer about 4.0. I upgraded as I sharing remotely is not something I need.
I only have 128kbps uplink from home. I have an iPod with all my music,
which I can take with me. In this country (Australia) we also have to pay if
we exceed our plan's bandwidth, which I sometimes think is a good thing, and
sometimes I don't.
I have been amazed in how some people want this feature when they only use
it in one other place. Why continually stream it when you can have it
locally. I have see one person say he couldn't keep the files on the
computer at work as that would be consuming company resources. He didn't see
that using up bandwidth was a resource too. To me, the solution would be to
have a portable drive (iPod) and connect it at work. But that would cost him
money.

Sorry for thinking out loud in an effort to be helpful.
I hope you didn't take what I said badly. All I was trying to say was that I
had a 14 line script which works in most situations. It's very readable.
Trying to parse XML would make it complex and not probably make it work
better.
