Maybe there's some other problem.
Are you SURE you're passing a valid ID ?
No leading spaces or other chars ?
I will note that when I added a space after the ! above:
[1] I got id not in the database returned;
[2] The space was almost invisible in ScriptEditor with the default
font.
If I didn't KNOW that I had just inserted one, I wouldn't have
been
able to see that one was there.
