Indesign vs Quark: NO every text of every story

  • Subject: Indesign vs Quark: NO every text of every story

In looks like in Indesign difficult things are getting simple and simple
things are getting difficult.

QUARK:
The most of my scripts in quark contains a line like this:
>>>>> set (every text of every story where it is "old word") to "new word"

INDESIGN:
In indesign I only get it done by using lists and repeat-constructions. Is
there a easier way.
(It looks like in Indesign you have to get the exact character numbers (1
thru 8 or so) of the words to replace and in Quark you don't)

Something like this doens't work:
>>>>>set every text contents of every text frame of spread 1 of active document
where it's text contents is "hallo" to "ok"

if you don't have time to give me the solution just say there is (or not)
and I'm very happy. I don't like to try to get things to work that doesn't
even exits.

Thanks.
