Well, **excuse me** for wanting the same behavior that URL Access Scripting
is capable of. . . ;-)
Try this:
tell application "URL Access Scripting"
-->name of file: fileName
download theFile to thepath replacing no
--> file of same name already exists in thePath
--> rename theFile: fileName1
end tell
Pretty nifty, huh?
Now this:
tell application "Finder"
-->name of file: fileName
delete theFile
--> file of same name already exists in the Trash
-->name of file in trash: fileName1
end tell
Since Finder Dictionary says that default of replacing no is no, I just
presumed that spelling it out might actually do something similar to URLAS.
