Out of memory error

Hi,
I'm running a 933 PowerPC G4 with 768 MB of ram and I'm attempting to compile a largish (~400 Kb) script using Script Debugger. Whenever I do so, applescript returns an out of memory error. I'm sure that the machine should be up to the task and I've already consulted with Script Debugger tech support. Can anyone tell me what's causing this error and suggest a workaround or solution?
