The Applescript Debugging is likely the AppleScript component from Script Debugger 3.0. The default language (and language popup in the navigation bar of the script window) is populated with all of the AppleScript components found on your system. For instance, you can download the JavaScript component from Late Night Software and install it and then you'll see it as one of the languages to choose from.
