George,
The strength of Eggplant is that it allows you to
script any application or process on any system that
supports VNC (Virtual Network Computing) via TCP/IP or
Airport. Eggplant's SenseTalk is a general purpose
language like AppleScript and HyperTalk, and talks to
the GUI of an application the way a user would.
One of the only limitations of Eggplant is that in
order to script an application on a local machine is
that you are required to run it from the command line.
