Question: Is there a known memory leak with folder action scripts under Mac OS 9.2.2?

It's been quite a while since I've used OS 9 but I seem to recall others who ran into this problem.

I rarely look at it - legacy boxes though.

One of the hacks to overcome it was to temporarily change the folder action extension into an application (using ResEdit or a similar utility), assign more RAM to it, and then change it back into an extension.

I rewrote the script so that it's a stay open AppleScript app which checks the upload folder every 60 seconds. I'll see what this delivers.
