Script Weirdness

Howdy,

Eudora 6.0b18 - OS X 10.2.6 - System Events 1.2

I have a fairly simple Eudora script that has begun to fail (partly) when run from the Eudora script menu or from the system script menu. When run from a script editor, the script works perfectly, as it has done from the script menus up until now. It isn't a huge script by any stretch of the imagination, and it handles a minute amount of data.

I say that the script fails "partly" because it does generate a dialog which is triggered by a couple of validation routines. The problem is that the validation that reportedly fails is outright wrong. It's almost like the menu mechanism is interfering.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this script has become pooched only when run from script menus? All other Eudora scripts are working as expected when run from the menus. It's very weird and frustrating.

Are there any related files (cache, plist, etc.) that might be corrupt? I've repaired permissions, ran Disk Warrior and ran Apple's Disk First Aid. Everything appears to ok with the disk and restarting the computer doesn't help. I've recreated the script with no joy.

Thanks for any input that you might offer.
