That is a known bug in curl which has been discussed on the curl mailing list. It doesn't matter and can be ignored. The only other options are 1) go through the download, build, and install of the free source code and 2) Wait for Apple to upgrade to a new version of curl. Perhaps someone has - Fink? - a compiled version ready to be dropped in.
