Well -- if you DeRez the alias, you can see the pathname of the original file,
however, the docs for the Alias Manager say that the contents of the alias record
after the size field, is private to the Alias Manager. ( I assume that an 'alis' resource
is just the ondisk version of an alias record. ) Maybe if you dump several you can
see if it's in a consistent location.
