The preview page for X-code says "Whether youre writing your app in C, C++ or Java, scripting in AppleScript or looking to migrate code from another legacy tool, youll find that Xcode is as quick to forgive as it is to compile. Fast and easy does it every time."

Does this mean that AppleScript Studio is dead? Or is it part of X-Code? Or What?

And what about Objective C? I notice its absence from the list of languages.

I don't see an immidiate answer to the question of Obj C, but AS Studio is alive and well.

Oh yeah, WOW!

AppleScript Studio
Use AppleScript and Apples graphical development tools to quickly build rich, functional standalone native Mac OS X applications that take full advantage of the Aqua user interface and the Cocoa programming environment. And deliver polished solutions to clients without ever learning C++.

Scriptable environment
All actions in Xcodes integrated development environment are scriptable, letting you easily automate development processes and integrate custom build systems and other tools via Apple Events.

Not only is Xcode the fastest way to develop applications for Mac OS X, its the easy way to optimize them for Apples new PowerPC G5 architecture. Xcode incorporates the machine model for the new generation processor, taking full advantage of the PowerPC instruction grouping and supporting the unique hardware math functions. And with the G5 optimized compiler, your applications perform better and take advantage of new hardware with no code changes. Turn overnight builds into coffee-break builds.
