FYI, I seriously doubt anyone from Apple is paying much attention *in

fix the bug in BugReporter, otherwise it won't let you in. (I still
find that amusing that BugReporter has a long standing bug in it).
What bug might that be? You need an ADC username/passwd to log into
BugReporter. I've used it the past four years without a problem.
Right, I've happily used it without snag for the last year. But if you
don't have an ADC username/password, then you have to get one. No
problem there, except the first time you try to use BugReporter it
won't let you in (at least it didn't for me last year and it hasn't for
may other users from what I've heard on the lists, it's a known problem
and that was the "bug" I was referring to). You have to send an email
to email@hidden in this case to have them activate your login for
BugReporter. Then it works fine!
I'll also take the opportunity to point out that Paul Marcos from Apple
politely corrected me on the assumption I based that entire paragraph
on. I've heard on the other apple lists (java-dev particularly) that if
you want bugs fixed you need to file reports on them in order to ensure
the bug was in the reporting system (Glen Fisher repeats his
BugReporter motto often ... "vote early, vote often") and erroneously
assumed the exact same thing applied on this list as well. My apologies
for the misunderstanding there ...
Maybe I should just be quiet now before I get myself into any more
trouble.
