Hi, when using the "check for new mail" function in Mail on Panther, is it possible to tell this message or determine through some other parameter when Mail has actually finished receiving any new new mail? Right now, as far as I can tell, "check for new mail" simply initiates the process, but doesn't wait for Mail to finish. Thanks.

Mail has a property that might be useful.

background activity count integer [r/o] -- Number of background activities currently running in Mail, according to the Activity Viewer
