There are also those who are old enough to be 'legal' grandmothers,
but that are not 'legal' grandmothers.
[One of my sisters-in-law qualifies: grandma at 34, mother at
barely 16 (and again soon after being a grandma). True, she's
subject to Australian law, but she's a Brit.]
I'm told it's not often a heavily pregnant grandma visits her first
grandson in the maternity ward :-)
