FTP Directory Listing w/URL Access Scripting

Hi List,
I checked the archive but couldn't find the exact answer to this question.
Using OS 9 and URL Access Scripting.
It seems I have to specify a file to download from an FTP server. I would
like to first get a directory listing to see if the file exists before I
download. Is this possible, or must I use Fetch/Interarchy?
Perhaps there is a workaround with a try statement?
