Last month there was a discussion about printing PDF on OS X using
Ghostscript.
I've been successful in defining a "PDF writer" printer that produces a pdf
file on a given subdirectory just selecting that printer and pressing
return. The nice part of it is that Ghostscript invocation can be modified
to specialize the produced file just like Adobe Distiller on OS 9, so you
can get an high resolution file for printing or a low resolution, more
compact file for internet distribution.
Only a small piece is missing to produce a completely automated solution and
is this "press return" on the printing dialog box. On Os 9 I was using
mostly Sandi's Addition Typetext to solve this problem, but I haven't found
anything similar on Os X except for the GUI scripting that is still beta and
cannot be used at moment on a production process.
There is any "keyboard simulation" osax available on Os X?
