a while ago I posted some questions about the possibility to create printers
that produced pdf or ps files. Now I've completed the development of a CUPS
backend for that and an installer for it.
Nino's Virtual Printers is ready and I'm glad to share the results. It can
be dowloaded at

In getting PDF Writer and Postscript Translator from OS 9 to OS X I was
inspired by some other scripts available on the net, but
- I wanted an installer package so that the installation was more similar to
a mac user experience then an Unix user one
- removed any need to personalize the script
- make it as a single package
Postscript files can be used as input for Acrobat Distiller if someone
prefers to use this way for its own pdfs.
