Why the 10-minute requirement?

It sounds like the easiest solution to this would be to implement it as a
folder action that prints the document and moves it as soon as a document is
dropped in the folder.

That's not to say it's hard to write a script to check every 10 minutes,
just that it seems like an unnecessary restriction.
