I downloaded your program and ESP Ghostscript. Where do I put
Ghostscript for Print Center to find it? Does it require installation
through the terminal? All it says is to type 'make install'. I'm
assuming they want that in the terminal but how does it know what to
install? I'm relatively new to OS X and haven't done any terminal
(Unix?) operations. Do they have an automatic installer?

Under OS X
- you can use my Nino's Virtual Printers available at
http://www.nexusonline.it/Demo.htm to create a pdf virtual printer whit a
destination folder
- use Print Center to select the printer
set my_printer to "your_pdf_printer_name"
tell application "Print Center" to set current printer to printer my_printer
- move and rename files as for OS 9
