Smile is the name of an application which performs the same role as Apple's
Script Editor, but has some extensions and nice features, including the
ability to create interface windows for scripts. Some people say this latter
feature is a bit inaccessible at present.

Smile dialogs have been under-documented. Nevertheless, they are very reliable and very powerful.

We have uploaded separately the chapters about Smile dialogs of the (soon to be released) Smile Reference Manual. (Since they were simply extracted, some references are missing and you may read things such as "about the Script menu see chapter ???").
