Under OS 7+ it sufficed to set the file type to "appe" to have an applet run invisibly in the background. In OS 10 if I do that. it runs all right but is still visible in the dock. How do I make it faceless?

The read me for an app named Dockless offers some info on this topic.

Thanks. At the moment it's not recognizing my applet, but I've probably slipped up somewhere. One problem I'm having at the moment is disk images apprently not mounting and not showing up in the vulumes window. I need to activate dockless from the shell. Has anyone any idea what could cause this?
