And the volume you are trying to mount is hosted on what kind of system
running what sort of OS?

Subject: Mount Volume bugs?
Just wondering if anyone is aware of bugs or gotchas in using the
"mount volume" AppleScript command.
I have two similar G4s, both with 9.2.2 and AS 1.8.3, and the same
mount volume command works on one, but generates and error 1070 on the
other (which as far as I can ascertain is a "parameter error"). The
server I'm attempting to connect to is running OS X 10.2.2.
I'm using the command in the form:
mount volume volName on server servName in AppleTalk zone zoneName as
user name userName with password pWord
... but I have also tried the URL version. Same error result on one
machine, regardless of whether I run the command as part of the
FileMaker solution it's embedded in, or in Script Editor. And I can
easily connect to the server through the Chooser.
Anyone seen errors like this before?
