Have you thought of saving your document as .rtf? This is readable by Word (x-platform) and you can save other WP documents, for example from Nisus as .rtf.
Kind regards

Yes, I could do the PDF thing again. I have tried it all sorts of ways. The thing though that amazes me is that with Windows, even when I send someone a word file, they still have to be told to open it with Word.

Maybe there is too much viri floating around and they are smart to be careful of anything not of the modern Windows creation. But PDF files, to some, are square pegs in round holes. "I'm sorry, that does not fit with our job description" (Yes some of this is about sending resumes). And HR types I find to be, generally, a very inflexible lot.

And so I am trying to settle on a best of platform. Word seems to be the front runner in that category. PDF files are certainly a second. Although the PDF really limits the copying of data. Again, I am not asking AS to do complicated things to a Word document. Essentially I am asking it to use Word as a letter template. I am tweaking my database output so that all the lines come to the same level. (If address has a line 2 then line 1, line 2).
