Why not simply setup a 'splash' layout and just include a 'go to layout -
pause 5 seconds' as part of your startup script in FMP? I've always done
this and it certainly beats messing with different solutions for different
platforms. My splash layouts double as my 'about' layouts (which used to be
a requirement for FSA members IIRC).

I must say I am intrigued with something though - how do you call the VB
script from FMP?
