Stupid me!, the bug is in pdftex, it doesnot accept spaces in a file name

For instance, I use pdf2ps and it does not accept the slightest space in the file names, including when quoted. Do you mean "[...] any real example of a shell command *included in the standard installation* [...]"?

Smae here, but it's a 'bug' from pfd2ps :=)
