how to create a thumbnail with AS?

Hi Scripter,

which software do I need to create thumbnails from a picture. The thumbnails will be from big .eps/.tif pictures. The infos from the file I get with the application ImageInfo from David Lloyd www.kanzu.com (very good programm!). Is it possible to create thumbnails without opening the file?
