M$ XL Area selecting and printing

This is my first M$ XL AS.
I would like to select an area and print it.
For the selection, I have tried:
---
Select Range ("A1":"H44")
---
but I had an error message (numeric index ?).
Is it necessary to select a sheet path if you are already "in it",
launching the script using AS menu ?
Then, what would be is the good way to select this sheet ?
For the printing, is "print selection" possible ?
