Could some one give me an example of how to use SetTellTarget

The dictionary states:

SetTellTarget: Makes an object the 3focus2 of AppleEvents
SetTellTarget
[to reference] -- reference to new focus of AppleEvents

The application in question is an image browser app "File Viewer Utility"

I am not new to applescript, but I can't get this to work.
