In the Finder dictionary there is:

print : Print the specified object(s)
print reference -- list of objects to print
[with properties record] -- optional properties to be included with the print command sent to the application that prints the direct object

... how does one find out what properties can be specified? And, is this a reasonable way to produce a PDF file from an arbitrary application, and is there a better way (e.g. for an application that doesn't have Save as PDF built in)?
